Prepare Your Matcha

1. Warm the bowl with hot water, then empty it before adding matcha.
2. Soak the bamboo whisk in warm water before each use to soften the bristles.
3. Sift approximately 1 teaspoon (2g) of matcha into the bowl for a smooth texture.
4. Prepare 75ml of water at 70°C (158°F). Add half the water and whisk briskly from side to side in a zigzag motion until a foamy layer forms. Add the remaining water while continuing to whisk.
5. Enjoy the matcha on its own to make it the focus of your tea ritual, or add warm milk for a matcha latte.

Care for Your Bamboo Whisk

After use, rinse the whisk and place it on the glass stand to help keep its shape. Allow it to air-dry. Store it in a clean, odour-free place, away from cooking areas, spices and herbs, as bamboo can absorb surrounding odours.
