jasmine with blossoms
The jasmine flowers are picked when they begin to bloom and are layered over the tea leaves over night; the tea quickly absorbs the jasmine flavour, leaving the blossoms pretty but useless; any flower which remains in the final product is simply for decoration. This flavouring process is repeated with several batches of flowers. Tangy taste, golden cup.
