It's always hard to know if a product is as good as depicted online, it's not necessarily intentional but just because colours get distorted. This is a very pretty mug and evokes the tropics. I find that Bone China mugs these days are a little bit heavier than I like, but the size and design are excellent.
Not overly strong, not so light you can't taste it. Classic orange pekoe tea that steeps without turning bitter or grassy in hard water. My go-to tea.
The mug is large and perfect for my daughter who is a knitter. Bone China mugs are not as delicate as they used to be. This one is also a tad heavier, more like porcelain. Unavoidable.
