Dunoon Belle Epoque Shetland Mug

This fine bone china mug from artist Caroline Dadd takes its artistic design from the works of Austrian painter, Gustav Klimt. With period illustrations of a woman being seduced with a kiss to the cheek, this design is laced with 22 carat gold and features an array of gold swirls intertwining around each other.  The design continues across the handle. A lovely gift for Christmas or birthday gift for your loved ones to enjoy their favourite loose leaf tea for the perfect morning or a cosy evening.

Real Gold Leaf

This mug is beautifully embellished with 22 carat gold adding an extra special touch and making it a great gift. This does however mean that it is not safe for the microwave, and not recommended for dishwasher use.

After working as a design manager at Royal Doulton, Caroline took over her father's business and was able to continue working with Dunoon on mug designs, graphics and packaging projects. She interprets many artists' work from Monet to Van Gogh including the Gustav Klimt inspired mugs, and created the fun, fact filled Informative Glencoe mugs.
