I've been casually enjoying Yerba Mate for a long time now, close to a decade. I had learned a while ago that this drink was traditionally consumed in gourds. This was a new tea for me and the timing was perfect. A nice spring summer tea. Perfect for sitting drinking on the porch watching the hummingbirds duke it out over the two feeders. I like a cookie with my naked tea and I found that Amish butter cookies are a nice match to this tea. Enjoy!
I make it iced and it’s tart and delectable, I add a little agave syrup and it’s perfection
